juz spent the sunday with friends...watching ateneo-lasalle game at nsg (a.k.a. we were a bunch of folks who were not able to get tickets...around 23K people filled araneta colliseum for the game - so i heard)...
as we cheered on...was looking thru the crowd at some die-hard lasalista or atenista...hey..hey don't look at me...im not one of those die-hard folks but i love a good cheer now and then...one of the best i've heard so far - "BEAT ATENEO, ANIMO LASALLE!!" - wow!! that boosts atenean morale to a hundred fold...they live to beat ateneo...that says a lot for depth doesn't it? hahahaha...
put that in parallel to 2 movies that i've seen today (oh yeah..took a day off from work...got this splitting monday headache) - 300 and devil wears prada....
300 guys with nothing less but 6-packs prancing around the entire movie is not the parallelism that i was thinking of here...a closetful of dolce & gabana, chanel and jimmy chus - not exactly parallel to a bunch of sweaty guys running around the courts...BUT hey they speak of one thing...passion...living for something in life...and both movies end with a strong point...they chose how to live and they defined how they wanted their lives to be...can we say the same for the mighty lasalistas? SPELL LASALLE!! D-L-S-U!! SPELL LASALLE! (check their latest cheer dance number...hehehe)
wrapping it up....one thing i can say - life lived with passion is life worth living...even if it means trying to beat ateneo....hehehehe...
seriously, what's the passion that drives you to wake up every morning?
i'm thankful i have something to live for...to work for...
